William Azaroff is a values-driven leader with a career dedicated to putting people first. As CEO of Brightside Community Homes Foundation, William leads a team that ensures over 1,400 Brightside residents have safe, stable and climate resilient homes, while growing the amount of housing Brightside provides.
William currently serves on the board of VIFF, and was previously the board chair of the BC Non-Profit Housing Association, Modo Co-operative, and the Vancity Community Foundation.
William has held senior leadership roles at Vancity, shaping programs that prioritized economic development and positive community impact. His early career in independent filmmaking inspired his collaborative, creative approach to leadership, detailed in his book, Everything I Learned About Leadership I Learned From Filmmaking.
