Lisa Picotte-Li (she/her) is a governance and legal executive with extensive experience advising boards and organizations on complex governance, risk, and regulatory matters. She currently serves as General Counsel for the IWA–Forest Industry Pension and LTD Plans, where she advises trustees and senior leadership on fiduciary oversight and long-term stewardship.
Earlier in her career, Lisa practiced as a construction and abuse litigator. She later joined Technical Safety BC, where she oversaw province-wide inspection operations supporting safe infrastructure and resilient communities. Lisa is also a certified human resources and privacy professional and has experience as an independent adjudicator. She previously served as a Board Director with Chimo Community Services, contributing to programs that support individuals and families experiencing housing instability.
Outside of work, Lisa is often on the sidelines of her daughter’s volleyball tournaments, training for her next marathon, or out for a walk with her husband and their energetic schnoodle on the unceded, ancestral and traditional territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlil̓wətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples.
