A partnership between Brightside and BC Housing, The Aster provides 82 new affordable rental homes for the community and replaces Brightside’s Mount Pleasant Lions Manor building, an aging 36-unit wood-frame apartment building next door.
The building is pet-friendly, and is geared toward seniors and families seeking secure rental homes in Vancouver. Some units are rented at Low-End-of-Market rental rates. A rooftop amenity space provides spectacular panoramic views of the city and mountains, and a ground floor common space connects with the vibrant Mount Pleasant community.
