Brightside’s proposal for 2924 Venables Street in Hastings-Sunrise received unanimous approval from Vancouver City Council at a Public Hearing held December 2, 2020; 349 E 6th Avenue in Mount Pleasant received near unanimous approval with only a single abstention on December 10, 2020.
Along with the unanimous approval for Brightside’s 1425/1451 E 12th Avenue proposal, Brightside will have the opportunity to build 384 new homes for Vancouver communities, prioritizing affordability for seniors, families, and people with disabilities.
