Brightside’s 2023-2025 Impact Report is here!
This has been one of the most impactful periods in Brightside’s 75-year history. Over the past three years, Brightside has opened four new buildings with 339 new below market rental homes, acquired 56 existing affordable rental homes through the Rental Protection Fund, broke ground on 429 new homes, and attained rezoning for 200 more. We commenced our Net Zero Retrofit Program, completing work at at 2495 West 3rd Avenue, which will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 97% and provides active cooling for residents. By 2030, we will have nearly doubled the number of affordable homes we provide over a 10-year period. By 2035, we expect to be net-zero portfolio-wide.
