Jake Anthony, CCIP, is a disability rights advocate (who also has a lived experience with a disability), accessibility consultant and motivational speaker. Jake has worked in the non-profit sector in many fulfilling paid and volunteer positions for fifteen years. Additionally, he has his professional designation a Canadian Certified Inclusion Professional (CCIP) from the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion. Jake has also been a guest lecturer and departmental advisor for Capilano University’s Applied Behaviour Analysis-Autism Program since 2017.
Jake is currently the Board President of Low Entropy Foundation, as well as sitting on the Boards of Disability Alliance BC and Harmony Movement. Prior to his election to the Brightside Board, Jake served a three-year term on the Board of Directors of the provincial Crown corporation Community Living BC (CLBC). He is thrilled to be working with the team at Brightside Community Homes Foundation.
